At one time had four vehicles being serviced at this dealership and the service writers had some service knowledge not now during routine service found corrosion on battery terminals and wanted additional 72 dollars to clean the terminals. When asked about antilock warning from Onstar while vehicle in storage for two months there was no sense of emergency this vehicle is a 2019 Silverado is subject of recalls for this problem and to top it off the charge 3 % credit card which is also new since dealership was sold

I received a text message that “upon inspection, we found your Cabin Air Filter is in need of replacement”. I gave permission to replace the filter and asked for the old part to be retained for inspection. After my paperwork was closed out and my vehicle delivered, I inspected the old filter and found it to be like new with no detectable dirt or debris. I believe this recommendation was made based on mileage and not inspection. Very misleading.

I was overcharged ripped off and almost killed. Aaa towed my car there to reprogram a master switch and they didn’t do it. Put in a new part and windows still don’t roll down or locks engage. Then charged me almost 600$ to leave there with my life. The whole service department is corrupt and needs new management. Devon Winchester tried to help me but the management needs to be replaced.

We drove 2 hours to come to the dealership we bought our 2024 Tahoe from. Upon arriving we were met by Devon at the front desk of the service department. We explained why we were there. She did help us some with our problems but the main problem we had was the auto stop. Our vehicle would completely die when the auto stop was on. She proceeded to explain how auto stop works, as if we didn't have a clue. We felt as though we were children and didn't understand anything. After we came back to pick up our car, we met a young man that works for you, Jayden, and he came to us and said that our car was not on the docket to get washed but he felt sorry for the way we were talked to by the front desk woman, so he had it washed. I thanked him and I really appreciate the customer service he showed to us. When my husband went into get the keys and talk with Devon, a serviceman, didn't catch his name, followed him out and wanted to better explain how the auto stop worked after listening to her explanation. We are not looking to get anyone in trouble, but we felt we needed to reach out and explain our situation so that it will not happen again.

We had a 2023 Ford F150 Lariat that I wanted to upgrade to a F250 Lariat with a gas engine. We were dealing with the store in Auburn and Dixon CA. Ford had no incentives such as rebates or lower interest. On Sunday, 8-10 we decided to make an offer on a Ford F250 in Auburn. Needless to say, Ford wouldn't come close to what I would pay , we were about $20,000 apart, so we walked. My wife and I went and ate lunch. We talked about Chevy but it had been years since I looked at Chevy so I'm not familiar with the lineup. We went to Folsom Chevy, and let me say Folsom wasn't my first choice as we had a bad experience at Folsom Ford when we bought the F150, I walked away from them, drove to Fairfield and bought a truck. A young man greeted us right away and I can't remember his name but I told him what we were looking for 2500 with gas 6.5 foot bed Leather seat Didn't want white or black. We walk from one side of the lot to the other and it was 100 degrees He points to a truck but I could see it was diesel. He says, wait here and I'll go look on my computer to see what we have. He went to the main showroom and my wife and I went in a side door where it was cool. The kid saw us and came over with George, introduced us and walked away. We told George want we were looking for. George said , I think I got one, I'll go find it and bring it up here for you to look at. We drove it, liked it and after 2 or 3 trips to the desk George finally got the numbers to where I wanted to be . So far we are happy and will recommend Folsom Chevy.

I would like to suggest that when work is performed on a vehicle, especially expensive ones, that the tech use a cover while working on the vehicle. I have many surface scratches and finger/body prints all over the back on my car. I do believe the scratches will be able to come clean. But I should not have to do that. I was hoping things had changed. I came in for an oil change, which includes vehicle inspection and used to include tire rotation. The "Service Suspension System" notification is on for my vehicle, my windshield wipers need to be replaced and is questionable if the oil change was actually completed. Just before my vehicle was returned to me, I was told of a possible oil leak and possible coolant leak, but each of those would cost $144 to diagnose the issue. Umm, no thank you. Upon driving the vehicle away from the dealership, the oil gauge was bouncing back and forth, which it consistently does when the oil level is low. I thought i just got the oil change, thus the oil level should be full right?? Brings into question of what, if anything, other than noticing a potential leak, was actually done on my vehicle. The person in front of me to check in was there because he was bringing his vehicle back because he previously brought in his vehicle for oil change and tire rotation and had marked his tires to see if the rotation would actually be completed, but it wasn't. Intriguing to me that the person felt the need to mark the tires in the first place and then his suspicions were proven true that the rotation was not completed. What is going on with your service area? Needless to say, I am not coming back.

I took my Colorado in because the temperature gauge wasn't working, the A/C was inoperative, the cooling fan ran constantly, and, suddenly, the red check engine light was on. This concern, less the engine light, had occurred previously but suddenly went away. The advisor gave me an estimate for $289, which I felt was extremely high for nothing more than plugging in the analyzer. She also explained that it would be examined the next day. The following day, her phone call explained that the technician's analyzer indicated a bad thermostat, and the total repair would be over $2000. I explained that I needed to think about the repair and would get back with a decision. After going online to review the needed repair, I called the service department and explained that I would pay the bill and retrieve the vehicle, since it was still drivable. Your payment policy still bothers me since you charge an additional 3% for credit card use. With your advisor, I once again reviewed the time needed and the cost of the repair. Again, I was assured that it was, at a minimum, a 4.1-hour repair and possibly more. I stopped at a local parts house and purchased the thermostat, housing, bolts, and coolant $173. When I got home, I changed the thermostat in my garage in 1 hour and 55 minutes, with hand tools and absolutely no previous experience with this vehicle; in fact, the 6-year-old truck has been so reliable that I probably haven't opened the hood more than once a year. Yes, 50 years ago I was employed as a mechanic, and yes, I did spend 47 years in the automobile industry, but I've been retired for 20 years, am 85 years old, and wear glasses, but if I can do that repair in that time, your flat rate book is either way off or there is something afoul. Although I think $289 per hour is a ridiculous figure, your actual fee would have been well over $500 per hour, and my doctor isn't paid that much. Maybe it's time to review a graduated labor rate based on job complexity, rather than just applying your $289 hourly rate to every repair. Peter Dennis Petersen

Only issue I have is that I brought the vehicle in for uneven wear on the front brakes (outer pads at <70%, inner pads metal on metal). My car had a dead battery that couldn't be jumped by another car. A tow truck was able to use a more powerful jump box and got my car started. I brought to Folsom Chevrolet to get it looked at. The last time it wouldn't start I was at Roseville Chevrolet...in the service drive. They didn't replace the battery and in fact sent me home with a check engine light on. Bailey was my advisor and I'm sure he sensed the frustration from my experience with Roseville Chevrolet and he was very accommodating and understanding. I also told him I was aware of a computer update that needed to be done that might be responsible for the battery being dead. He advised me of a fuel filler recall on my vehicle and told me that parts had not been sent yet, but that I would be advised when they were available. Our first service. The only complaint that I would have is that it took over 15 minutes to get checked in. I guess that a service advisor must have been assigned to us when we made the appointment and he was busy with another customer. We were approached by other advisors but each said that we have to wait for the advisor assigned. Just seems to be a deterrent to bring our vehicle back.

I experienced a sudden unexpected battery failure with my Corvette. Immediate phone appointment with the Customer Service Rep led to a same day appointment to replace the battery, upon availability, and there was the only one in the Parts Dept. The battery was replaced successfully in about an hour plus! However, I did notice that the Technicians doing the replacement had some difficulty getting the old battery out of it right rear mounting box! And I also noticed that there was NO protective covering over the rear portion of my vehicle from belt buckles or jacket zippers and the like!! To me this is a NO- NO!! - However there was no damage to the paint surfaces, But there could have Been! More CAUTION REQUIRED!

I had ordered a part and prepaid for service. From drop off to pick up I never met the service advisor. The service was never performed on the vehicle because wrong part was ordered. It took 8 hours and multiple calls from me to find out that service cannot be completed. When I went to ask for refund for the prepay, I was given this very non caring attitude. I am never bringing my vehicle back to this place

If you ordered it through the GM App, you can, if you haven't already, return it to our parts department. They will require the order receipt, as well as the packaged part. My vehicle was brought in and required diagnostic assessment to determine why vehicle unable to power up and run, which affected the Lithium-ion battery and the Electric Drive Unit. After thorough diagnostics the 12 volt battery was determined to be the culprit. After battery replacement of the two (2) faults were corrected. I showed up for my appointment. The oil was changed, but they discovered a "major oil leak". One gasket was replaced at 69,065 miles, the other was the original. I also wanted my truck re-aligned. They found a crack on my tie rod. I was told to get these two things fixed and then get the alignment. Great staff, friendly atmosphere.
